Victims of Murderous Dad Identified: Child’s Mom, Her Father, and Neighbor

Florida police finally released the names of two other people shot to death on Sunday along with the mother of a 4-year-old child abducted by her killer father.

Broward County deputies found Nathan Gingles and the daughter about five hours after responding to a call and finding a man shot to death at the residence. They later said they had found Mary Gingles, 34, shot dead at another home. Nathan Gingles, 43, was charged with three murders, according to court documents.

The man found dead at the initial crime scene was identified as 64-year-old David Ponzer, Mary Gingles’ father, according to WPBF. Mary Gingles was found dead at a nearby home along with 36-year-old Andrew Ferrin, who was said by neighbors to be the nephew of a homeowner.

As CrimeOnline reported, Mary Gingles apparently ran from door to door seeking help early Sunday morning before her estranged husband shot her dead. Mary Gingles had a domestic violence restraining order against him, but that apparently meant nothing.

Police said they found a firearm believed used in the murders when a dive team searched a nearby canal, WPBF said. The little girl was not physically harmed.

Nathan Gingles has been charged with three counts of murder by firearm, violation of a protection order, interfering with custody, kidnapping, child abuse, child neglect, and armed burglary, according to jail records.
