Police are still searching for a Pennsylvania teen who has been missing since last month.
WFMZ reported that on January 10, Enci “Aubrey” Wu, 14, was reported missing from her home in Palmer Township after officers conducted a welfare check. Wu’s parents believe she ran away, leaving through her bedroom window.
Wu was last seen on January 11 at a Wawa store in Whitehall Township, New Jersey.
Wu’s parents believe the teen may be involved with adults connected to sex trafficking, according to NewsBreak.
Authorities have reached out to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as non-profit organizations, for support in locating Wu. She has been entered into the FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.
“Our top priority is ensuring her safety and welfare,” police said in a statement. “We encourage the community, as well as her many friends, to immediately contact us with any details that may lead to her safe return.”
Wu is described as having hazel eyes and black hair. Her identifier is GC 149 IDS.
If anyone has seen Wu or has any information about her possible whereabouts, they are encouraged to contact the Palmer Township Police Department at 610-759-2200.
