Middle School Altercation Ends in Tragedy: One Teen Arrested and One Dead

An altercation between two Texas middle school students resulted in the death of one student.

Serenity Baker, 14, was fatally stabbed on Monday at Roy J. Smith Middle School in Killeen by a fellow student, who is also 14 years old, according to Click2Houston.

Serenity was rushed to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries shortly after noon, the Killeen Police Department reported.

The 14-year-old suspect has been taken into custody. Due to her age, the teen’s name has not been released, Click2Houston reports.

She brought joy to everyone around her, and her kindness touched so many lives.”
