A Big Island woman in Hawaii is missing after someone reportedly found her vehicle unattended over the weekend.
Hawai‘i Island police report that Vesna Young of Miloli‘i, 51, was last seen at 3:30 p.m. on March 16 near the 88-100 block of ‘Umi Avenue in Miloli‘i. They are asking the public for assistance in locating her.
Police discovered her vehicle around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, around five hours after she vanished, near the 88-100 block of Kai Avenue in Miloli‘i.
Young is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, and is of Caucasian descent with blond hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in a light-colored shirt and shorts.
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to reach out to the Hawai‘i Police Department at their non-emergency number, 808-935-3311.
