An Arizona man is still missing a month after his reported disappearance.
Marcus Freiberger, 45, vanished after a scheduled blind date in Phoenix on February 21. Freiberger’s father told KSAZ that his son had money and drug issues, and he reportedly was in between housing when he disappeared last month.
However, Freiberger’s father said it is unlike his son to abandon his dog, who was left alone for several days.
“He’s never disappeared this long,” the father said.
It is unclear if Freiberger went on the date. According to KPNX, Phoenix police said they have no evidence suggesting Freiberger is in immediate danger.
“Even if he did decide to go somewhere he would’ve at least called his friend to take Thomas [his dog]. That makes me really think there’s something more going on here, foul play of some sort,” the missing man’s father commented.
Freiberger was possibly last seen in a parking garage in Phoenix. He owns a white 2021 GMC Sierra pickup truck with an Arizona plate reading 3MA66L.
Freiberger was described as standing 6 feet tall, weighing 225lbs, and having dark brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call Phoenix police at 602-534-2121.
