A Mississippi woman has been charged with the death of her toddler daughter.
Picayune Police said officers were called to the home of Christian and Samantha Enfinger, 33 and 30, shortly after 10 a.m. on Tuesday and found the little girl, identified as Aurora Enfinger, dead.

They obtained a search warrant and “began gathering evidence relative to the death.” They also found steroids in the home and charged the Enfingers with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
On Friday, an autopsy report was released ruling that Aurora, 3, died from blunt force trauma, and Samantha Enfinger was charged with capital murder, WVUE reported.
“This is a tragic situation, and our thoughts and prayers are with those who cared for Aurora,” police said in a statement. “We ask that you pray for those impacted by this horrible crime and never forget this beautiful child.”
Investigators have not released any further information.
