3 Teen Girls Try to Kill Mom for Turning Off Wi-Fi

Three teen girls in Texas were arrested on Sunday for trying to kill their mother.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the girls, ages 14, 15, and 16, attacked their mother at their Houston home because she turned off the Wi-Fi. The trio chased their mother around the house and in the street with a kitchen knife and struck her in the head with a brick, according to KTRK.

Gonzalez said the girls’ grandmother was also knocked down while trying to protect the mother.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Gonzalez said the two victims were not seriously injured. The three girls were booked into jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The three girls were not publicly named, presumably due to their ages.
