A 47-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in a vacation rental property in southwestern Utah on Sunday.
Washington City Police said they were looking for “two persons of interest” who fled the scene in the victim’s rental car. They did not identify either the victim or the “persons of interest” and said the “persons of interest” “are not considered a danger to the public.”
Police also did not say what led them to the victim’s vacation rental. They said the woman had come to Washington from California three days before her body was found
The vcitim “was stabbed multiple times in the upper body,” police said. The Office of the Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy.
Police said they anticipated releasing more information on Tuesday.
