A South Dakota woman was recently arrested for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old last year while working at a daycare.
KOTA reported that the incidents occurred in August while Sarah Hazledine, 48, was a teacher at a Spearfish daycare. Hazledine’s close friend said the allegations against her are false, with dozens of people signing up to be character witnesses.
According to the Mirror, the indictment stated that Hazledine ‘sexually penetrated’ the child last year.
Hazledine, who is free on $75,000 bond, was charged with first-degree rape of a minor under the age of 13 and sexual contact with a minor under the age of 16. She is due in court on April 28.
