Former “Smallville” actor Allison Mack was sentenced to three years in prison on Wednesday for her role in the cult-like Nxivm and its secret, women-only group DOS. Mack had previously pleaded guilty to racketeering and conspiracy charges. In a letter submitted as part of the sentencing memorandum, Mack apologized “to those of you that I brought in Nxivm. I am sorry I ever exposed you to the nefarious and emotionally abusive schemes of a twisted man,” a reference to Nxivm leader Keith Raniere, who was convcted on racketeering charges last year and sentenced to 120 years in prison.
